Job Overview
As a Research Analyst at Dwight Patterson Consultants, you will play a key role in supporting
our recruitment team. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and presenting
candidates for roles in the Technology and Financial Services sectors. Your ability to conduct
in-depth market research, identify high-quality talent, and accelerate the recruitment process
will be essential in meeting our client’s hiring needs and achieving team revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing:
– Conduct research to identify and source potential candidates using job boards,
social media, and other industry-specific platforms.
– Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future
recruitment needs.
– Leverage tools such as LinkedIn, job portals, and other databases to identify
talent for specific roles.
Market Research & Insight:
– Research industry trends, company structures, and emerging talent pools within
the Technology and Financial Services sectors.
– Provide regular market insights to consultants, including compensation data,
candidate availability, and competitor hiring strategies.
– Stay up-to-date on market shifts, new technologies, and key players in the
industries we serve.
Candidate Screening:
– Conduct initial candidate screenings, including phone interviews, to assess
qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
– Assist consultants in scheduling and preparing candidates for interviews.
– Maintain detailed records of candidate interactions and status within our
applicant tracking system (ATS).
Support in Placement Process:
– Provide administrative support in preparing candidate profiles, submitting
resumes to clients, and following up with candidate’s post-interview.
– Assist consultants in coordinating interview schedules and ensuring smooth
communication between candidates and clients.
Reporting and Data Management:
– Prepare and maintain reports on candidate sourcing metrics, progress on active
searches, and pipeline activity.
– Track and analyze placement success rates and contribute to the ongoing
refinement of our recruitment strategies.
• Team Collaboration:
– Work closely with the recruitment team, providing essential research that allows
consultants to focus on closing deals and finalizing placements.
– Participate in regular team meetings to discuss sourcing strategies, market
trends, and candidate pipelines.
– Contribute to team goals and support colleagues in achieving both individual
and collective targets.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    o A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field
    is preferred, but not required.
  • Skills & Experience:
    o Previous experience as a Research Analyst, Recruitment Assistant, or in a similar
    support role in recruitment or talent acquisition is highly desirable.
    o Strong research skills and familiarity with candidate sourcing techniques
    (LinkedIn, job boards, social media, etc.).
    o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    o Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ATS tools
    (experience with recruitment software is a plus).
    o Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a focus on
    meeting deadlines.
